8 MORE WEEKS!

8 more weeks till our son Kingston gets here. I am beyond excited. Although I'm visioning having a healthy pregnancy and fast forward to his first and second birthday, HAHAH! I'm totally skipping the the delivery. I just don't know what to expect, I mean I think about it and how I'd want it to go.

I'm planning to go natural, I honestly think I can do it. I've been thinking if I get stuck at 7 cm for x-amount of hours, I wonder if they'll give me pitocin to keep me progressing. I should ask next time I go in. Can't wait for the next ultrasound so we can see our little man and hopefully he's not too big, cause mama needs to push him out. I really wanted to do a water birth but maybe I'll try it with our next baby. Look at me already talking about baby number 2, haahha!

I love seeing my little man move around and making my bump look crazy. He's been getting down to the music I play for him And it always puts a smile on my face. I've been lagging on making a playlist for him to listen to in the womb. Maybe he'll recognize it once he's here. He's recently started moving for daddy, which is a blessing because he would stop immediately once he would put his hand on my bump and I would feel bad. I love being able to share that with him. Hubby always says his movements are soft, to me they're big. Lately his kicks/ movements have been hurting. I'm over here thinking he's mad, but I start to laugh and encourage him.

I can't wait to meet him, but I will because if he came out now it'd be a little too soon.

Cravings

These third trimester craving are no joke. Yesterday I was craving some Schawarma from Dr. Kabob's and some McChickens. I'm looking forward to getting my McChickens right, only to find out that they ran out. HOW DO YOU RUN OUT OF MCCHICKENS, HOW?! I was about to cry. It has to be these pregnancy craving cause I don't ever cry for food. I could really go for some Thai food down the street their Thai Iced Tea is FIRE!

Baby Shower - Lion King

Hubby and I went back home to celebrate our firstborn's baby shower. My sister and Best Friend threw it for us, with the help of our loved ones. I was so happy I got to spend my family. The theme was Lion King It's one of our favorite movies growing up. My husband's Brothers came and surprised us from Idaho. We've missed em so much and with everyone's lives going in different directions its always nice seeing everyone. We really thought they weren't going to be able to make because they just had started school.

I'm so thankful for my sister's and everyone's help with the baby shower. We loved it and enjoyed everyone's company.

I loved eating all the food I missed. Examples: In&Out, Chipotle, Starbucks and most importantly PHO!!!!!! You have no idea how much I missed eating my Pho. I can't find a spot like it out here in Guam. The soup alone was amazing! I'm coming back for you Pho when I go back home. I got a cupcake from Cakos I want the tiramisu  one but I forgot I couldn't have it :( so I got the Samoa, shout to my husband! HAHAH! Stopped over in Honolulu and I had to get me Starbucks. I've been craving egg sausage and a Passion tea Lemonade since we got on the plane to Honolulu. I used to get it every Sunday when I would open.

Kinda bumped that I didn't get to spend time with everyone. Hopefully I get to see everyone next time. Love you guys!

BIG NEWS!

Hubby and I are expecting our first child. Our baby love is due at the end of March, but who knows our baby might be an Aprils fools baby. Poor thing is gunna have so many jokes played on em. The beginning was rough. I thought I had food poisoning. After two to three days we ended going to the E.R and I peed in a cup by the end of my visit the doctor told me I was pregnant. I started laughing/ giggling. Hubby was in the waiting room the whole time, "I told everything is fine, it's just food poisoning." Mind you hes been waiting for an hour by this point. So when I told him he was gunna be a daddy, his facial expression was too funny. So many emotions flashed. I wanted to do something special for him but I was too impatient and spilled the beans. I was 4 weeks then.

Now we're twenty weeks and we find out the sex of the baby this Friday. We are too excited. I've been asked how am I carrying and I really don't know. hahah! I mean i think I carry high because of this fatty bump I've always had so when I push it in I look like I'm carrying in the middle. No help there. So who knows. hahah! I hope our baby won't be shy. I heard there's a bet going on back home on the gender. I'm thinking about not saying anything and making them wait. That or tell each person something different. Shady, I know.

Hubby wants a boy of course, but thinks we're having a girl. At first I wanted a girl because I don't know how to dress boys. Funny Right? Also because Disney is coming out with a Polynesian Princess in a couple of years and by then my best and I can take our kids to the movies. One of our friends said we're gunna have a boy but he's gunna be bad. Lawd he better not or else he's gunna get sasa. One of my friends mom had a dream of a boy but I'm really thinking if she dreamed of my as a baby because Beng and I looked like boys because our hair looked like faux hawks. Most importantly is that our baby love is healthy. I honestly don't care what sex the bay is. Either way our baby love will be spoiled this is my family s first grandchild. I want my kids to learn Visayan from my parents and Samoan. Lawd, if we have a girl its gunna be KRAMA.

We're so excited for the baby shower, I have such an amazing group of ladies who are planning it for me, I know it's going to look so cute. Once, we know the sex we can start looking at themes. I hope I'll be showing nicely by the time the baby shower is here. I want to look pregnant not fat. hahah!

Puppy!

My husband and I got a puppy. We got him from the local shelter on the island his name is Opie, and for those of you who know us we named him after my favorite character on the show Sons of Anarchy. We don't know his breed for sure because him and his siblings were found in their drop box one morning. The vet said he's a shepherd mix. He's such a cutie but is a hand full when he wants to be.

I took him to the dog park last week and he made a new BFF with my friends dog. He kept humping her, though. I know dogs do it to show dominance but he kept on doing it. I don't if I'm suppose to stop it. He's neutered so no worries there. But his BFF kept slapping him in the face, which was pretty funny. Anyway, this bigger puppy came by and Opie thought he could hang with him. They were playing for a little bit, I guess Opie was too slow on a turn or whatever but the bigger puppy ran Opie over. I shouldn't have laughed but I did. At least now he knows where he ranks, hahhaa! My next goal at the dog park is to have Opie run the obstacle course they have there. He was able to jump over a bar, but wouldn't jump on over it the other way. Divo.

Taught him the Paw trick, still working him rolling over. We'll get there. I've always like watching Ceser Millan's shows, but I saw his book at the NEX and it's been my doggie bible. It's really helped me out a lot on how to understand our puppy.

Thankful Thursday - Miss Kelani

Miss Kelani

I am honored and Thankful to be a God mother to my best friend in the whole wide universe since we were four years old, daughter. She was my first friend ever in life, haha! I love her to death and I miss her so much.

As Ninang I want to be in her life as much as possible. To remind her how much her parents love her when they bump heads. Most importantly be apart of her support system. And get her little treasures wherever my Hubby gets stationed. Picking God Parents for your child is a big deal, you shouldn't just pick anyone, so you can tell how excited I was when I found out that I was gunna be Ninang.. I want to have a strong relationship with my God Daughter.

She told she was pregnant on my birthday, which makes it the best present EVER! I was so excited for her and supported her any way I could. One time we went to Black Angus for lunch cause she was craving some meat. Black Angus is my family's go to spot for celebrating anything, specifically my Taytay's birthday. So going there for lunch was a bit odd for me, haha! I loved eating with her cause I'd always know where we'd be going. There weren't any moments of silence thinking of where to go.

When she was closer to her due date maybe two days, we tried everything to get her to pop. Went on a long walk around her neighborhood, stopped by Spouts to buy snacks for the hospital, finally walked to Scramblez to eat something spicy. Nothing. Kelani is just like her mommy, a DIVA. HAHAH!

Kelani was born in June, I got all pretty for her, so she could be like I'm the pretty Ninang. Babygirl was asleep the whole time I was there. Best asked me if I want to hold her, I was freaking out inside cause I scared that I might hurt her. Then she asked if I could re-swaddle her and did a horrible job doing so.

She is the prettiest baby ever! Looked just like her mommy, then out of no where morphed in to her Daddy. I miss her so freaking much, can't wait to see her this year. I hope she remembers me. She better with all the times she had her spit all over me and pee all over me, LMAO! I was screaming, I didn't realize why there was this warm feeling on my lap, when I realized she was pee'ing it didn't stop. Beng was just laughing the whole time. When we see her this year Ninong and I will be spoiling her. And I'm take her for the day.

Babygirl has so many people in her life that love her so much, and with all these personalities she won't have a dull moment. Ninang and Ninong love you!

BABY FEVER

It's just that a fever, hahah! I was on pinterest and saw the cutest nursery. So naturally I end up looking at other nurseries and ended up making a board for it. Now have all these cute ideas for a nursery, but no baby on the way, I think it's too funny. I mean that with no sarcasm, which is a first. But I do know that when we are blessed with with a baby he or she will have the cutest nursery.

I can't wait to make all these pretty Chevron designs. Hopefully my sissy will be able to help out cause she's so artistic. I'm loving all these bright color themes but I'm leaning towards the more mellow colors. AAHHH, I'm falling in love. I know for sure I want one wall to be covered in a pattern.
