When I landed it was stormin' like crazy. Rain all over my face, wind slapping me in the face, you know the usual. Hubby's flight was cancelled for two days :( No flights were coming in or out of Japan. Fortunately, one of my hubby's friend let me stay at their place. The view from where we were staying before we got our place was BEAUTIFUL. The water looked so clear, the shades of the waters depth was so calming.
Haven't been around the island much but I do have a list, hopefully hubby won't mind too much. Ehhh. oh well.
Hubby took me to Chamorro Village, most definitely will frequent this spot. This is the spot for good food on a hump day, I'll have pictures later. Most likely will be our food adventures, hahah! Fatty's. Their live entertainment was amazing. One guy, just ONE guy was getting it in on the "Cupid shuffle" and "Casper Slide." Found little gifts I'm bringing back home for my loved ones.
Went to Gab Gab Beach. The first time there was a trip cause we just got over the storm and the water felt choppy. Couldn't really tell you how the water was before or ever because This was the FIRST time I swam IN the ocean, usually I just go thigh to waist deep. Not much of a difference there 'cause I'm Short. I panicked, I was trippin' about stepping on something poisonous, because I didn't have the special swimming shoes my hubby kept talking about. I went to "Pool" area of the water thinking there was gunna be some kind of fish net. I felt kinda safe thinking so but no there was no fish. Just a rope sectioning off the water. And my big ole behind freaked out. I saw all these fishes, sea cucumbers, then saw how deeeep it was. Don't get me wrong it was pretty cool. I was just wasn't used to being in that environment. I'm used to swimming in the pool where if I get tired I can bounce on the tile, not worrying about anything brushing up against my leg. Long story short I didn't last long, I got out and sat on the wall. Then I see all these little kids jumping off the wall in to the ocean, I don't know how high it was but it's pretty high. Maybe I'm just being a brat. I'll do better next time.
Going home was another trip. My hubby learned stick about two days ago. Getting out of Gab Gab beach there's the steep hill to get over to exit out. Once we hit this speed bump the car stalled and made the craziest nose. It sound like it was cussing us out. We did this about 3-4 times, poor car. Then this guy offered to help us out, and told us how get over the hill. I was sweating thinking we were never gunna Gab Gab beach. HAHAH! Thank the LAWD!
